Korona-Houston
Korona Houston - RN / Owner

Korona has been a healthcare worker for over twenty years and has filled many roles during that time. Her experiences began as a nurse aid while functioning in a variety of different living environments. Each role allowed her to better identify potential obstacles in improving patient’s quality of life and recovery.
In 2004, Korona became a Registered Nurse. This advancement and transition helped increase her focus on skills related to the care of the aging and rehabilitation. This growth in her nursing career felt the most rewarding as she had the opportunity to nurture and mentor young Nurses and Certified Nurse’s Aides while being a Nurse Educator for Spectrum Health and the Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing and Rehab facility. During these career opportunities, she knew that God had placed her exactly where she was meant to be.
“I have been so honored to lend my expertise to my clients and their families. I started Pax et Cura to provide an environment of compassionate, patient-centered care.  During a time when it feels as if everything is being taken away, we show you how much you can do for yourself. “

Korona’s Past Experiences:
Director of Nursing –  Collaborated with all medical and non-medical, third-party services to meet the patients centered goals.
Director of Marketing and Clinical Liaison – Identified the need of the patient, then followed-up with the patient outcome and concerns
